Leading Counsel Mr Sukhdev Garcha of St John’s Chambers, Sheffield (instructed by KBS Solicitors) leads the argument for the defence team opposing the prosecution application to have the statements of the victims in this case read to the jury.  It had been alleged by the victims that a third party had told them that they would be shot if they came to court to give evidence.  Under pressure from the expertise of defence counsel the prosecution conceded the argument and offered no evidence, securing all the clients an acquittal.
